💧 Why Water at Work Matters More Than You Think

The #1 Biohack Your Office Is Getting Totally Wrong

We’ve all heard it: “Drink more water.”
But what if the water you’re sipping at your desk is doing more harm than good?

Let’s break it down—because in the modern workplace, hydration isn’t just about how much water you drink…
It’s about what kind of water you’re drinking, and how you hydrate strategically to fuel focus, clarity, and long-term health.

I’ve been in the corporate world for nearly 30 years. It is just not OK to drink the tap water. I know.. everyone does and they’re just fine, right? Well, look around at the average number of pills we take daily! It’s quite a large number as we age.. unless you really take care of yourself and in some cases get lucky.

At 50 years old, I do not take any harmaceutical pills. Not one. But if you drink the tap water, you are likely dosing yourself with quite a few! Don’t do it!

🚱 Tap Water Is Not Your Friend

Most office buildings are piped into a municipal water supply that may technically be “safe”…
But that doesn’t mean it’s clean.

Here’s what’s lurking in most tap water:

  • 💊 (P)Harmaceuticals (antidepressants, birth control, antibiotics)

  • 🧪 Chlorine and chloramines (which kill good gut bacteria)

  • ⚠️ Lead and heavy metals (especially in old pipes)

  • Fluoride (a neurotoxin banned in many countries)

  • 💀 Microplastics (from pipes, pollution, and water bottles)

So, while your office building may offer a shiny water cooler or filtered tap, odds are you’re still sipping a chemical cocktail that tanks your energy, disrupts hormones, and dulls your mental edge.

💡 The Work Water Strategy You Actually Need

If you want to stay sharp, hydrated, and aligned with your high-vibe lifestyle—especially at work—here’s how to upgrade your water game:


1. Bring Your Own (Clean) Source

Invest in a high-quality home filtration system—preferably reverse osmosis or spring water delivery—and fill your bottle at home before heading to the office.

Pro Tip: Add minerals back into RO water with a pinch of sea salt, Quinton minerals, or fulvic drops.


2. Choose Glass or Stainless Bottles

Say goodbye to plastic. Heat, sunlight, and time cause plastic to leach hormone-disrupting chemicals into your water.
